Kelly is the BEST! She took a stressful situation and made it easy to deal with. My home had a signed contract in September and the buyer backed out (in October) less than a day before my closing. Given I actually live out of state and was tasked with the selling of my mother's property, Kelly had to do a great deal of communication, coordination and recommendations for me in order to prepare the house for sale. We found her through a recommendation from a friend of my sister-in-law who also had a great experience. Kelly was able to offer great information and recommendation regarding listing price, what was the bare minimum we had to do to prep the property, referred great resources for help with that, and even lifted a broom cleaning up after foot traffic after multiple showings to prep it for new showings!!! Kelly was the listing agent for our house in Cary. The house was under contract in 7 days and we closed 3 weeks later. The process for selling a house has gotten very legalistic and process-driven. The smallest error such as a misapplied answer or check box can derail the process. Therefore, it is important to have a listing agent who has an intense focus on the process steps as well as the activities that occur in each step. Fortunately for us Kelly is such a listing agent. Every process step was explained, each form explained, and each outcome was communicated in a timely fashion. Kelly answered our calls and we never had to leave a voice mail. The forms were all electronic until the actual closing. Each activity in each step was well explained. We were expecting several issues that could have forestalled the sale and nothing materialized.
